Sarezzo is a commune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. It is bounded by other communes of Lumezzane, Villa Carcina, Polaveno, Gardone Val Trompia. It is located in the Trompia valley, and its population in 2006 was 11 652. The commune is made of four frazioni (villages): Sarezzo, Zanano, Ponte Zanano, and Noboli, although today, as in many other areas of Europe, these have grown into each other and there is no visible distinction. Indeed Sarezzo, 13 km from the city centre of Brescia, is today part its urban area (population 350,000).
