Sardeh Band Airport (or Band E Sardeh Dam Airport) (IATA: SBF, ICAO: OADS) is located near the village of Sardeh Band and about 1km north of the Russian-built dam (built in 1967) called Band E Sardeh Dam. It is 18 miles southeast of Ghazni city in the Ghazni province of Afganistan. The airfield lies in a valley 2 miles northwest of lake Mota Khan. While in use during the Russian occupation of Afghanistan, this airstrip no longer exists. There are no structures to support it and there is no visible air strip any longer. It's only desert.
