Sardar Dr Basheer Ahmed Umrani, Dow Medical College educated, is the head of Phatani tribe (a subtribe of Umrani Tribe). He lived his life in Karachi and received his early education from KGS Karachi and then went on to Dow Medical College for MBBS. Sardar Basheer ,Tamboo Distt Naseer Abad born, is one of the influential tribal heads of the region and enjoys support of majority of the powerful tribes in Balochistan. His influence extends from NaseerAbad to Bolan on one part and to interior Sindh and Makran on other.
