Sarat C. Das was an Indian journalist who lived in Queensland, achieved some recognition for his documentaries on Australian aborigines. The documentaries dwell on the genetic similarities between Australian aboriginal people and some tribes of India as earlier discovered by famous voyager T.H. Huxley in his mid 19th century sea voyage. However, anthropologists contradict Indian contribution to the Australian gene pool based on genetic evidence.
