Sarah Hills was a fictional character in the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders. She was played by Daniela Denby-Ashe.
Sarah was rather troublesome when she arrived on Albert Square, shoplifting from various market stalls. This was noticed by Alistair Matthews, a shop manager and religious cult leader who made Sarah turn to religion to avoid being turned in to the police. Sarah found God and became friends with local vicar Alex Healy.
She slept with Robbie Jackson but was ashamed of what she had done and ran away to live rough on the streets.
She also got engaged twice, firstly to Joe Wicks and later to Matthew Rose. The former relationship ended when Joe slept with Mary Flaherty and the latter ended when Sarah found out Matthew only wanted to get her into bed.
Sarah's last appearance was at the trial of Matthew when he was convicted for the murder of Saskia Duncan in October 1999. She then left Walford to attend university.
It has since been mentioned that Sarah reconciled with Joe several years later.
