The Late Eocene creodont Sarkastodon mongoliensis being confronted by the giant mesonychid Andrewsarchus mongoliensis, in what is now Mongolia. Andrewsarchus has reared up and is threatening to trample Sarkastodon, perhaps in a dispute over territory or a carcass.
