Date of Birth: 30 October 1987.

Qualification: B.Mus. (Indera kala Sangeet Vishwa Vidyalaya, Khairagarh), Sangeet Prabhakar.

Faculty (Classical-vocal) – V. N. Bhatkhande Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Ghaziabad. INTRO During the last decade many youngsters have taken music as a serious life occupation and their individual abilities have brought them enviable success. Sankalp Srivastava is one of them. Sankalp is a promising vocalist of new generation. Born in Lucknow in a traditional family of Music Lovers, he had an aptitude for Music right from his childhood.

TRAINING IN MUSIC He received his guidance of classical music under Guru-Shishya Parampara from Pt. Hari Dutt Sharma ji & Ustad Gulshan Bharti ji. In Tabla Sankalp trained under Mr. Devashish Dey ji who happens to be disciple of well known exponenet "Ustad faiyaz khan ji"

SPECIALITIES Sankalp Srivastava is not only refined the existing regiments of music but also developed compositions & lyrics of its own. He may perform several different genres of music, with various ensembles, at any given point of time.

MUSIC GENRES Sankalp always finds himself at home with Classical Music fused with Western Instruments open, alive and evolving form of music.
