[edit] Reverting edits by Jmgl2005
I'm reverting the edits by Jmgl2005 on 5 March 2008 as superfluous. They add no information to the article. Specifically:
- the parenthetical remark "it was a romanesque-styled church", apart from being badly expressed, is only stating the obvious. Any church built around then in Spain would necessarily have been Romanesque in style;
- all the information in the paragraph about the fire in 1936 is already there elsewhere in the article, except that it was "a few days after the Civil War started". I haven't been able to find a reference to the exact date of the incidents, so I thought it better not to include unsourced information. As for observing that the "church has a lot of visitors, both due to the best selling novel "La Catedral del Mar" and the concerts which take place here", such reasons are pure speculation. Everywhere in central Barcelona is saturated with tourists these days, and anyway concert-goers are not really the same thing as "visitors" (or, indeed, worshippers).
