The information on Inuyasha rambles on quite a bit in the Characters session, so I've cleaned it up to remove repeat information (The general concept of "she'll always be there" gets repeated about three times) removed speculation on the future of the series ("she'll be with him even after she marries Miroku"), and edited it a bit to make it more neutral.

I also edited the section on Miroku to reflect some information not mentioned in the summary which I felt should be there, primarily the generally respectful way she addresses him (I've not seen the series in English as it's not my primary language, but Sango mostly addresses him as Houshi-sama in the Japanese dub) and their somewhat adversarial relationship.

Edited the section on Inuyasha once again, as the previous author brought back the same stuff he or she wrote before almost word for word. I've mainly rewritten it to be a little more neutral and once again removed speculation and repeat information.
And please, whoever keeps editing the page, please at least leave discussion notes. 159.37.7.119 16:44, 15 May 2006 (UTC) --Lanky

[edit] Editing Relationships

I just noticed this, but Kohaku is not mentioned in the relationships section. Can someone add this? (perferably someone who up to date on the manga. [I am currently on chapter 300ish]) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.147.223.143 (talk) 05:37, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Editing trivia

Relocated some of the trivia section to other parts of the article. The remaining bits, just to keep them here somewhere, are included below:

  • Sango possesses a resemblance to Ukyo Kuonji from Ranma ½. This rationale comes from the fact that they both have long hair, carry a large primary weapon on their backs and are even both voiced by Kelly Sheridan in the English dubs.
  • Sango's English voice actor, Kelly Sheridan, also provides the voice of Barbie.
  • Sango's name like her brother Kohaku means a type of gemstone. Sango is Japanese for coral.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Sango (Inuyasha).gif

Image:Sango (Inuyasha).gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Has this issue been resolved? Mizu onna sango15 01:18, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Unlikely. Those who remove images have been applying stricter and stricter standards for "fair use" until eventually no image will be able to pass the test. JRSpriggs 23:36, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
