Sanopus

Sanopus is a genus of fish in the Batrachoididae family. They are restricted to the Atlantic coast of Central America and Mexico. It contains the following species:
- whitespotted toadfish (Sanopus astrifer)
- bearded toadfish (Sanopus barbatus)
- whitelined toadfish (Sanopus greenfieldorum)
- cozumel toadfish (Sanopus johnsoni)
- reticulated toadfish (Sanopus reticulatus)
- splendid toadfish (Sanopus splendidus)
