Sangean

Sangean (traditional Chinese: 山進電子; pinyin: Shān Jìn diànzi) is a globally active Taiwanese electronics company specialised in radios. The company has built its worldwide reputation especially on world receivers and recently also made a name for itself with digital receivers. It was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in Zhonghe, Taipei County, Taiwan, with a factory located in Dongguan, China.
Apart from products sold under its own name, Sangean also produces on behalf of other companies: Many of the world receivers marketed by Siemens, Panasonic, Braun and Grundig have been and are being developed and produced by Sangean.
Sangean has manufactured millions of its more than 500 radio models. Sangean has been awarded several electronics industry prizes for its products.
