Sandusky County is a heavily Republican County in Northwestern Ohio. The County has a strong history of supporting Republican presidential candidates as well as local Republican candidates. As of 2007 the Republicans in Sandusky County carry nearly all county offices however have a minority in the Fremont City offices.
