Sandau is a town in the district of Stendal, in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated on the right bank of the Elbe, approx. 5 km south of Havelberg. It is part of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") Elbe-Havel-Land.
