Sandan-kyō (三段峡?) is the one of the most beautiful ravines in Japan.

Sandan-kyō is a 16-kilometer long ravine along "Shiwaki River" in Akiota, Hiroshima, one of tributaries of the famous Ōta River in Hiroshima, Japan.
Sandan-kyō is a part of Nishi-Chugoku Sanchi Quasi-National Park.
Sandan-kyō is famous not only for autumn leaves and maples but for all seasons.

There was Sandankyō Station on JR Kabe Line, but the services between Kabe Station and Sandankyō Station, has stopped due to the decrease in total passenger numbers from December 1, 2003.

- Take Chugoku Expressway, and exit at Togouchi I.C. and take Route 191.
- National road
- Take Route 54 and take Route 191 from Kabe.

- From Hiroshima Bus Center or Yokogawa Station, Take Express bus to Sandan-kyo bus stop (terminal). It takes one hour and ten minutes from Hiroshima Bus Center.
