Sanctuary of Las Nazarenas

Sanctuary of Las Nazarenas is the most popular church in Lima, where is venerated main Peruvian catholic devotion Lord of Miracles, Señor de los Milagros, who is Patron of the city. It was constructed together with Monastery of Nazarenas nuns in eighteenth century, after a hard earthquake in 1746.

From this church begins most important religious procession of America in October 18 and 28.
