For many years I worked in the not-for-profit sector, as CEO of various charitable foundations (both private and public). Over time I developed a deep interest in the theory and practice of Civil Society and in theories of Democracy. I am using Wikipedia to expand my own understanding of these major topics AND to share what I have learned with others.
