[edit] Removal of genuine ilocano brotherhood and auxilliary sorority section

I reverted the Samahang Ilokano article because the addition of the section on genuine ilocano brotherhood and auxilliary sorority doesn't seem to contribute to the article. I can only assume that it refers to the Genuine Ilocano Gang, in which case, a stub could be made for it, instead of piggybacking on this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brownspank (talk • contribs) 14:00, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Initiation

Initiation is required in the most members of the fraternity. "Neophytes" must undergo in a initiation process before becoming a full member of

the fraternity. Initiation takes place after the "Veteran" members had introduce the

neophytes to their "Alumni" members. Neophytes are being gathered and introduce

to each other by the veterans while conducting the fraternity rules. During initiation,

neophytes are ask to line up by heights being blind fold. Each veteran will ask

question in "Ilokano" and each question must answer correctly and loudly. A veteran

will ask if the neophyte member recognize their voice while being blind folded or if

the neophyte knows the rules and policies of the fraternity. Question such as the full

names of the veteran members will be ask and if the veteran is such an ass, they

will ask the member to spell their name correctly. Each mistake, a punishment is

being given such as slap in the face or a punch in the chest is given and if the

neophytes makes 3 consecutive mistakes, veterans punish the members by giving

them multiple punches. After all the questions have been asked, neophytes undergo

the "HAZING" process. Hazing is the final part of the initiation and it is the toughest

part. All male neophytes are being hit 3 times by a long wooden paddle board at the

back of the hips by veterans. A veteran must not hit the legs or the butt (bum) area

of the member. If this happens a member will say "FOUL" and a punishment will be

given such as slap or punch at the end of the hazing process. There are two kinds

of hitting process using the paddle board, A half-swing and a full-swing (swinging the

paddle before hitting the legs. A Half-swing is being given to the newest members

while a full-swing is given for those who are former members of the fraternity or from

different fraternity. Femaie members are being ask to remove their clothes while

being blind folded. A female veteran will touch the entire body including the private

parts while a male member speaks and pretends (male members are not allowed to

step closer to a female neophytes) that he is the one touching her. If the neophytes

survives this initiation they are being welcomed by the veterans as part of the
