}} '''Same Old Story''' is an Australian [[punk rock|Punk]]/[[heavy metal|Metal]] band from [[Perth, Western Australia|Perth]], [[Western Australia]] that was formed in [[2004]]. Same Old Story consists of Chris Hanssen ([[Lead Guitar]] and [[Vocals]]), Edward Dempster ([[Bass Guitar|Bass]]. The band is named after a [[Pennywise]] song from the "[[About Time]]" album. Same Old Story's style can be described as a hybrid of [[queercore]] and [[german pop]]. Their songs include most of the characteristics of [[Punk Rock]] but also include the melodic aspects of [[Power Metal]], such as the [[guitar riff|Guitar Riffs]]/[[guitar solo|Solos]] and typical chord progressions.
