Sam Williams (born June 9, 1987) is an English football player who currently plays for Aston Villa as a forward. He was sent on loan to Wrexham to gain first team experience. On February 4, 2006 Williams scored on his debut for Wrexham against Wycombe Wanderers. Williams, naturally a defensive midfielder before the start of the 2005/06 season, took straight into the role of an attacker, after injuries to strikers.
