Samuel Richard Shade (born June 14, 1973 in Birmingham, Alabama) is a former American football safety in the National Football League. He played eight seasons in the NFL from 1995-2002. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Washington Redskins. Shade played college football at the University of Alabama.
