Sam Callis

Sam Callis is an English actor from Chichester, West Sussex best known for his role as Sergeant Callum Stone in The Bill (since August 2007).

Callis trained at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He has had roles in London's Burning where he played Adam Benjamin and in Ultimate Force as Captain Patrick Fleming. He was Doctor Mike Banner in The Royal until he left to join the cast of The Bill. He has made appearances in Holby City and Doctor Who.
Callis has also acted in some films - in Kidulthood (2006) he played a security guard, in Spanish TV Movie Trance (2001) he played Nick, in Capital Punishment (2003) he played Russel Blake and he starred in Shrink (2000) as Max.
He has acted in theatre which has taken him to New York and on a UK no1 Tour for Arms and The Man.
He also has a wife, Osmin, whom he met whilst he was filming 'London Burning'.
