Samuel Bozzo

Sam Bozzo (born February 15, 1969) is a American film director and author.

Bozzo wrote, directed, and edited three short films. For Which It Stands (1990) was screened in the Sundance Film Festival. The Shadowed Cry (1992) was created as a Top 10 Director assignment for Project Greenlight, run by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Holiday on the Moon (1994) won the TriggerStreet.com Short Film competition held at the Toronto International Film Festival, has been screened on the Sundance Channel and is available on a compilation DVD Spooks and Creeps. Bozzo won a 1994 CINE award for the film.[1]

As a writer, his screenplay The Garden (2006) was produced by Stephen J. Cannell,[2] three other screenplays were Quarterfinalists in the Nicholl Fellowship for Screenwriting,[3][4][5] and Bozzo's novel Sweet and Sour (2006), a dark comedy based on his script of the same name, was published through Dragonmount at CafePress.com.

Bozzo is currently finishing two feature documentaries, one on hackers[6] and the other Blue Gold: World Water Wars, inspired by the book by Maude Barlow and Tony Clarke.
