As a counter example to my own prod tag, I would cite Harry Stanley - the "Hackney table leg shooting". But Harry's case did go to the High Court. (The investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission ain't special: every police-related death gets an IPCC investigation automatically.) -- RHaworth 06:34, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
