This is a bad page. Fr. Jonat, Salian is an adjective that can refer to many things in the middle ages -- including the Salian Franks! I'm not even sure we call Conrad's dynasty Salian -- it may be Salic, or something else in English. Please be more responsible in creating pages. JHK -- For Fr. JHK On the Holy Roman Empire page is stated Salian dynasty. I included the word dynasty in the link, even through the other dynasties are linked only under the names such as Habsburg etc. Please also read the text on Conrad II .ThanksHJ

I've never heard this dynasty called Frankish before in English. I think that's in error. Srnec 05:32, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

I have seen this dynasty referred to as "Franconian", though it seems rarer to me. Their own duchy was Franconia. Suedois 11:54, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move

I ask this to be moved to a clearer name. Salian, an adjective, may refer to for example Salian Franks where I just needed it, and instead went through to this. Salian is ambiguate, at least, and does not mean primarily the dynasty. It seems to me that this would be good to be at name where is "dynasty" added. However, that name is polluted with earlier edit history. Suedois 11:50, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

  • Support, seems a good idea to me.--Aldux 11:09, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
