Salvador Borrego

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Salvador Borrego is a revisionist Mexican journalist who has written several books which have been described by several prominent historians[citation needed] as revisionist history.

His works include "Derrota Mundial" (Worldwide Defeat), in which he claims that the defeat of Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany was a defeat for the entire world because the Nazis were fighting against what they believed to be an international Jewish conspiracy to take over the world, and "America Peligra" (America in Danger), in which he adapts the story of the alleged international Jewish conspiracy to provide what he claims to be the true account of the unfolding of historical events in Mexico and Latin America.

His works have been criticized[citation needed] by Mexican intellectuals, as well as by Tribuna Israelita and other Human Rights groups who argue that his ideas are lacking in historical fact and are antisemitic propaganda.

His works have also been praised by important historians as José Vasconcelos who wrote in the prologue for the book "Derrota Mundial"- "This is one of the most important books ever written in America". The book is now at its 48th edition.
