Sally Obermeder

Sally Obermeder, born and bred in Sydney, is an Australian media personality.
After completing a Bachelor of Commerce, Obermeder worked in Finance and Investment Banking, before leaving to pursue her passion for television.
Obermeder began her career on Channel 31’s Not The Movie Show, a film and entertainment program. Here she sourced, scripted, presented and produced her own segments for three years.
Then, in 2005 Sally joined the Seven Network’s Sydney Weekender team. This travel program shows viewers the best places to go and things to do across New South Wales.[1]
Out on the road on this weekly travel and lifestyle show, Obermeder covers a mix of stories from action and adrenaline pumping through to her specialty – eating and shopping – which has seen her become labeled as the Food, Fashion and Shopping guru on Sydney Weekender.
In 2005, Obermeder was selected to present the New Zealand special of Mike Whitney’s Walkabout, a national travel series which aired in 2005 and 2006.
Not one to be ever stuck for words, Obermeder has been a guest on King Ben's Injection of Perfection, The Edge 96.1 and MIX 106.5 and also contributed to magazines such as TIME OUT Sydney and Skylar, in addition to her own regular feature within the Sydney Weekender Magazine.
Obermeder is also a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor.
