Sally Nugent

Sally Nugent is a journalist who works for the BBC. She appears on the rolling news channel BBC News 24 presenting cover shifts and is also a News Correspondent. In this role she produces reports and does live broadcasts for BBC Radio, News 24 and Network (BBC One) bulletins on the general news stories of the day.
Prior to taking up this role in 2006 she presented the sports news on BBC News 24. She travelled to Germany for the 2006 World Cup, and anchored for the BBC News 24 programme Sportsday from there.
Her first role was reading the sports news on BBC North West Tonight.
