Sally Carns Gulde is a photographer, an award-winning graphic designer, and the mother of two.
A native of Oklahoma and a graduate of Wheaton College, Carns designed art and packaging for the Nashville music industry before moving back to Chicago.[1] In 1999, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences presented Carns with a Grammy Award for her design of the album Ride with Bob by legendary country swing band Asleep at the Wheel.[2]
Carns has been an avid photographer for nearly two decades. As a mother, she has developed a deeper appreciation for the power of photography to capture the fleeting moments of life. After plying her artistic trade for Amy Grant, Merle Haggard, and others in the music industry, Carns decided to start working for moms, dads, grandparents, people in love, and anyone else needing to capture a moment in time.
Carns lives in Oak Park, Illinois, and is married to a guy she met at summer camp. She has two children and a dog that does seven tricks.
