Salil Oberoi

Salil Oberoi (born December 7, 1983 in Delhi) is a scholar from Oxford University who plays first class cricket for Oxford UCCE. He is a former Delhi and Delhi under 19's representative.[citation needed]
Oberoi is a Rhodes Scholar and an alumni of St. Stephen's College, Delhi, where he studied Economics between 2001 and 2004.
In 2005, Oberoi made 247 against Cambridge UCCE at Fenner's. This was the highest first-class innings since the formation of the UCCE team, and the third-highest of all time for a side representing Oxford University. The two higher scores were both made in the 19th century.[1] It was also the highest ever in a Varsity Match.[2]
