Saleyards Creek
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Saleyards Creek is a storm drain located in Sydney, Australia. It rises in the suburb of Strathfield and flows in a generally northward direction through the suburb of Homebush. Saleyards Creek is lined with concrete banks for its entire length and generally flows as little more than a trickle during dry weather. During its course, the creek flows under Paddy's Markets Flemington in the form of a man-made tunnel. Saleyards Creek then re-emerges into daylight and continues under Parramatta Road and the M4 Western Motorway until finally joining Powells Creek at Bressington Park in Homebush.
