The Saleen S5S Raptor is a sports car revealed by Saleen, Inc. on 20 March 2008 at the 2008 New York International Auto Show.[1][2] It is intended to be equipped with a Saleen 5.0 liter supercharged engine (similar to that used on the 2008 S302E) which will yield 650hp, capable of accelerating the car to 60mph in 3.2 seconds or less. The Raptor is expected to complete the 1/4 mile in 10.9 seconds. It is projected to retail for $185,000, roughly $400,000 less than the S7.
