How does one achieve this status? Is it based on how long one teaches at SLU or more on what one does while not at SLU?

[edit] New Building

Details?

From the 10/1/07 Dean's Forum:

Law School Building Project – Dean Lewis reminded everyone that a model has been placed in the atrium. The project will cost between $37 – 40 million dollars. Money is purported to come from donations from the alumni. Fundraising will take a number of years and construction will not begin until a substantial portion of the funds have been raised. It will take about three and a half years to complete. There will be a new classroom building, and the current building will be converted into office space and library space. Tuition money will not be used to fund this.
