Saint Elmo is a fictional character featured in the publications of Marvel Comics, notably Alpha Flight.
[edit] Fictional character biography
A member of the original team, Elmo was killed in an early mission. It unknown whether he has any connection to the Christian Saint of the same name. He was referred to as "Keeper of the Northern Lights" and may have been a godlike being like Thor or Hercules. He possessed an unknown range of energy-related abilities.

A version of Saint Elmo appears in What If?. There, he is a member of The Flight and had fought a version of Weapon X before being killed.
