Saint-Pierre is the third-largest commune in the French overseas département of Réunion. It is located on the southwest side of the island of Réunion. In the 1999 census, Saint-Pierre had a population of 68,915. The commune has a land area of 95.99 km² (37.062 sq mi). The agglomeration of Saint-Pierre, including the neighbouring commune of Le Tampon, has a total population of 129,238 - the second-largest in Réunion.
