Saint-Marc-le-Blanc is located at 39 km North-East of Rennes and 33 km south of Mont Saint-Michel.
The communes bordering are Saint-Brice-en-Coglès, Baillé, Le Tiercent, Chauvigné and Tremblay.

Inhabitants of Saint-Marc-le-Blanc are called Marcblaisiens.
As of the census of 1999, the village had a population of 1,086.
