Saint-Georges-de-Chesné is located at 38 km in the North-East of Rennes and at 49 km in the south of the Mont Saint-Michel.
The communes bordering are Vendel, Billé, Combourtillé, Mecé, Livré-sur-Changeon, Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier and Saint-Jean-sur-Couesnon.
