Description

Coming Home is bronze sculpture of a U.S. Navy sailor at Marina Park in Kirkland, Washington. This sculpture was a gift to the City by the U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation and the Kilwein family in 2001. It commemorates Kirkland's role in ship building at the Lake Washington Shipyard during World War II. More information on this piece is available at the Kirkland Public Art Walk Web site.
