Image:Saiga dust cover flap.jpg

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A saiga-12 shotgun with the dust cover removed to expose the bolt carrier, gas tube and the metal flap that seals the action when the bolt is closed. Note how it rides in the middle of the recoil spring assembly, causing it to be exactly halfway between the extractor and the rear of the receiver at all times.
