Sahel is an Arabic word meaning "border" and might describe two regions:
- Sahel, a boundary zone in Africa between the northern part of the Sahara and the Sahara region of Sudan (not to be confused with the country of the same name)
- Sahel, Tunisia, a region of eastern Tunisia, mainly on the central shore, with the city Sousse being the main town
