No joke. To be honest, I had no idea that the Sahara was that huge -- i had figured that there was still regular land in the northwestern segment of Africa. Um, if the Sahara is 2.5 million years old, how come this area was described as the "breadbasket of Rome" in Roman writings? are they just joking? Is climate change an old topic. Enquiring minds want to know . . .
