Sagamite

Sagamite is a kind of drink or stew made from Indian corn. Additional ingredients varyingly include brown sugar, animal fat, beans, smoked fish or animal brains. It is recorded to have been used in ceremonies to celebrate welcomed guests by tribes such as the Huron, and the Osage.
