Saehan

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Saehan is a Korean corporation established in the beginning of the 1970s. It is now mostly based on textile production. The Saehan Automobile division later became Daewoo Motors.

Saehan built the Saehan Max, a small 2-seat pickup with the Opel Kadett-front, under license from Opel. The car was identical to the Kadett, sharing the doors, hood, lights, interior, in other words- everything. However, the cabin was very short, and the seats could not be adjusted very much back. The car's front part was shorter than the actual Kadett, making it very tight for larger people. Saehan's "Max" is now a part of Korean automobile history.
