A striker who describes himself as fast, explosive and good in the one-on-one situations, Adams was recognized by World Soccer Magazine as one of the 50 Most Exciting Teenagers on the Planet in their November 2007 Issue. He scored 4 goals in 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup for the Ghana U17 Team, including a goal in their 1-2 Semi Final loss to [[Spain national football team|Spain]

On October 20, 2007, the Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Atlético Madrid are chasing several of Africa's brightest young talents including Ghana starlets Sadick Adams and Ransford Osei. With Liga transfer laws ruling Africans as Spanish nationals, Atletico moved quickly to collect information on stars from the Nigeria and Ghana U17 Team teams[2].

Atlético Madrid signed a pre-contract with Adams in November 2007, and allowed him to train with the reserve. The young Striker, who turns 18 on January 1st, stated to the Atletico web page that “I wanted to come and play in Europe and coming to Atletico is fulfilling a dream. We follow the Spanish League a lot in Ghana and it’s a country that we like for their football and the atmosphere of the matches. My goal is to stand out and grow as a footballer at Atlético”.[3] as FIFA stated that no international transfer is allowed for player under 18. Adams will become a player for Atlético Madrid starting from January 2008 transfer window[4][5][6]. Liverpool have made a deal with Athletico Madrid, that he will sign with them in two years time, for the agreed fee of 5mp.
