Holy jeez! Now my user page has been changed to say this is confirmed! I don't know what method is being used to confirm this, but I don't have any other username, nor have I ever seen anything about Taddeus45 until today!

I posted on Hu12's userpage saying much the same thing. I had seen your contribs and participation on some of the same articles as me. I also pointed out that you were impersonated before and that perhaps this was a case of mistaken identity. --Renrenren (talk) 16:37, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi Stéphane: you might remember me from January this year when I was helping you with a harassment case. I'm going out on a limb here and unblocking you for I strongly believe you are a good user, and will contact both the blocking admin and the checkuser (User:Thatcher) separately (technically we're not supposed to unblock until discussing it ... but you've got a long and excellent editing history). Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser/Case/Taddeus45. Contribution history has little to do with this case. This was the only account not initialy blocked after being confirmed by checkuser. I left this account unblocked and when the core IP was used by two more of the sock accounts it confirmed that they are connected with this account. None of the second identity sock puppets edited the mainspace, indicative of operating one account "clean", while using others to engage in disruptive behavior. I can tell you for certain I have no other accounts, which I doubt means anything to you since you've labeled me a sockpuppet. I can also tell you I typically get assigned the same IP for months at a time from my ISP, but that we recently had a power failure during a storm. My home router currently says my uptime is 1day:15h:12m:59s, meaning I probably got a new IP address when the power came back on at that time. I don't understand how you've confirmed it, but I have many years of edits on Wikipedia, and none of them are spam. Whatever process was used to "confirm" my identity is flawed. My full name, address, phone number, etc..., are easily accessible from link directly provided on my user page. I'm not hiding anything. --Stéphane Charette (talk) 18:03, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Clearing an autoblock

Due to the nature of the block applied we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. Thanks for uploading Image:Csdne.gif. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
