This is a northerly view of Rhyd Ddu station in the final stages of construction on 26/5/03. Diesel loco Conway Castle hauls a PW train with a tamping machine in the background. In April 2006, the platform was doubled in length to the south and given two faces in preparation for the planned 2009 opening of the through route to Porthmadog. B.W.Hughes
