[edit] Your contribution to article Suzanne E. Baumann
Hi, you have been contributing a lot to an article which seems to be about yourself. As you have noticed, someone as tagged this article as a possible copyright violation. If the text on the website 1/ is really under the GFDL, this should be mentioned on the website itself, so that we have a reference of the fact. Otherwise, anyone could create an account with your name on Wikipedia, and pretend that the text found on a random website is free. I'd suggest that you add this fact on the website, and then the copyvio notice can be removed. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any question. All the best, Schutz 12:16, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
To Schutz Thanks for your notice.
The text on the website 2/and 3/ is NOT under the GFDL. All rights are reserved this is mentioned clearely on the website under: SUZANNE BAUMANN, Guests/Contact and ISIS VOICE: Contact /Guests in german language. As I have informed Wikipedia 31.O7.06. Only the text of the article Suzanne E.Baumann and S.baumann which was contributed to wikipedia is free for GFDL .There are other articles in preparation, but if the copyright is still not clear yet, I will wait with other contributions. Please let me know what else there can be done for the protection of the websiteUser: S.baumann 17.59,2.August 2006
- Note that you replied on my user page, instead of my talk page. Make sure you reply on the talk page the next time ! As for the text, the person who put the copyright violation notice on the page probably noticed that there was a strong similarity between the text on the website and on the Wikipedia page. If nothing on the website indicates that the Wikipedia copy is legitimate, we have no way of making sure that the Wikipedia article is not a copy (especially since we have no way to make sure that you and the website's author are the same person !). Adding a mention such as "The content published on Wikipedia by user S.Baumann under the GFDL and derived from this website has been authorized by the author" to your website would probably do the trick. It is suggested to merge the article Suzanne Baumann into Suzanne E. Baumann. I started with the article Suzanne Baumann- because there seems to exist an other artist called Suzanne Baumann in the US, and I had constantly many problems, I changed the articles name. So I changed in the english version to Suzanne E. Baumann, which is my full name. Both names are right so it is possible to merge Suzanne E. Baumann into Suzanne Baumann or Suzanne Baumann into Suzanne E. Baumann in to one article. I am known as Suzanne Baumann.User:S.baumann 15:38,10 August 2006
- Make sure that all the content in article Suzanne Baumann is included in Suzanne E. Baumann, and we can then transform the former into a redirection towards the latter (I am happy to do it if you don't know how to do it); tell me if you need any help or if you are happy for the redirection to be added. Schutz 14:20, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Now that the merge is done, you may want to improve the format of the Suzanne E. Baumann article, especially if you want to learn more about Wikipedia. There is quite a bit of work to do to bring this article to Wikipedia's usual standard and format. For more information, you can start with the page Wikipedia:Guide to layout, or ask me for help if you need it. All the best, Schutz 10:56, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ISIS VOICE
I've added the "prod" template to the article ISIS VOICE, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:ISIS VOICE. If you remove the dated prod template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Isis Voice
A tag has been placed on Isis Voice, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article is a repost of either already posted material, or of material that was previously deleted under Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion. If you can indicate how Isis Voice is different from all other articles, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template hangon, and also put a note on Talk:Isis Voice saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we ask you to follow these instructions. -- Agent 86 17:42, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
