Sævik

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sævik is a former municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway.

Sævik was established as a municipality January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt) - but it was merged with Overhalla already in 1846. The district was separated from Overhalla, again, in 1860 (now with the name Namsos herred) - and it was divided into the municipalities of Klinga and Vemundvik January 1, 1891.
