[edit] Spelling

Shouldn't this be spelled rōkyoku? Or are these two separate genres? Badagnani (talk) 01:03, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes. There is some big misunderstanding going on here. "Ryūkōka" (流行歌) is just Japanese for "popular song", but this article seems indeed to be talking about rōkyoku. Also Kunimoto Takeharu was born in 1960 so he's not exactly one of Japan's "first major stars". Aissle (talk) 22:42, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
