I created the "Barnstar of Recovery"
The background image is the international sign for first aid, with a raditional barnstar symbol mounted on it (the image is called the "CPR Star"). It's meant to symbolise a user giving a dying article the "kiss of life". It was first made for User:Shawis on January 7, 2008 after he saved an article I nominated for deletion with some skillfull reference finding. It has since been awarded to over 25 users! (as of March 9, 2008)

I got HMS Cardiff (D108) up to FA class, but I don't think I'll try and push another article up to FA again though, as once you get past the GA mark the article's educational content starts to suffer (due to the FA process's strict guidelines) and after all the whole point of us improving articles is to teach, not gain glossy awards lol. I would like to thank these people for all their help.

For those interested, I originally came across her article after a request for help from one of her former crew, Griffiths911. He has some amazing photos of her service during the Falklands War that you really should check out. It took me just over three months to achieve FA, involving lots of research, it all paid off though as I was able to impress Griffiths with some facts even he didn't know! Here's what she looked like before I got started, if you fancy a laugh ;)

I got the South Atlantic Medal article up to a B from stub, I intend to go back to work on it in the future.

Also on a minor note: I created the Justice League of America (TV movie) article, which according to the tool here gets over 300 hits a day! It was like the first thing I did on Wiki and I was surprised no one had made it yet as there were lots of red links around for it. Anyway it's pretty much stuck on "start" now and I'm happy to leave it that way, I'm trying to distance myself from all the fancruft lol.
