I was an English Language Teacher (Jet Programme) in the public Junior High Schools of Gotsu-shi, Shimane-ken, Japan, in 1995-96. I lived in the Waki-cho neighborhood of Gotsu, a short walk to the beach. I now live in Washington D.C., and work in the area of international tax, on occasion dealing with Japan.
